Beau says:
The RNC's single-minded focus on re-electing Trump risks alienating down-ballot candidates and may lead to regrets within the Republican Party.
Political observers
Analysis of potential long-term consequences and implications for the Republican Party and electoral outcomes.

Well, howdy there internet people, it's Beau again.
So today we are going to talk about the RNC and Laura Trump
and how things may progress from here
because there have been some leadership changes
that we've talked about for a while
and we're just gonna kind of run through what's happening.
Okay, so the RNC is the National Level Republican Party.
Okay, and Laura Trump has been elevated to one of the top positions along with
another person who was picked by Trump. A lot of people who are members of the
Democratic Party are upset by this because Trump got his way again. I don't
know that I would be if I were you. So, the RNC has a wide job. It has a big job.
It has to coordinate state, federal, local elections, Congress, Senate, the
presidency, everything. Trump and his loyalists are very much just about Trump.
The RNC is poised to spend quote every single penny in pursuit of putting Trump
back in the White House. That is a quote from Laura Trump. That is
probably going to impact House, Senate, state, it's going to impact a lot of
races because they're supposed to coordinate all of this stuff. Now the
state and local level there there's other entities for that but it's all
supposed to be more or less coordinated. The federal stuff all falls under
the RNC and if they're spending all of their money on Trump well it it's going
to impact other things. There may be networks, there may be funding that isn't available
to candidates down ballot in the Republican Party. And they will probably be upset, especially
if they are, especially if they're running for reelection and they're aware of how it
should work. They might get really mad. It might turn into an absolute clown show. Now,
There is a concern that the RNC will be footing Trump's legal bills.
I mean maybe.
That's a distinct possibility.
Every single penny is going to go to re-electing Trump.
The RNC is putting its entirety of its support behind a candidate that certainly did not
have the support of the entire party during the primaries. This is probably a
mistake. I know that there are some Democrats who are upset because,
again, just reflexively, Trump got what he wanted. There's a saying about, you
know, being real quiet while your opposition is making a mistake, and this, I
definitely think this is a mistake. I think the Republican Party is certainly
going to regret it. Down ballot candidates, oh they're not going to be
happy when they see the results. I do not believe that the RNC is going to devote
a whole lot of resources to anything other than Trump because that takeover
is complete. Now people are going to say that McDaniels was his. Yeah, McDaniels at
Times tried to curtail Trump's worst urges. These two don't think they're
going to do it, but it is important to remember that McDaniel's, for the most
part, took her marching orders from Trump. The reasons that she was, there was a
lot of pressure for her to leave was because it wasn't effective, but those
Those orders came from Trump.
If I was a Democrat, I would not be upset by this.
Anyway, it's just a thought.
Y'all have a good day.
