Well, howdy there, internet people.
It's Beau again.
So today we're going to talk about some news coming out
of the tech industry.
News dealing with an internet company
that I think is going to surprise most Americans.
I don't think that most Americans would believe this
without the reporting that is coming out.
It deals with a social media giant,
a behemoth in that industry, Truth Social.
According to reporting, Truth Social
is having economic difficulty.
The reporting suggests that they haven't
paid their internet infrastructure company,
their web host, in a number of months.
And that reporting suggests that Truth Social owes them
a little bit more than $1.5 million.
This news is going to be made all the more
shocking to anybody who is familiar with the players
involved.
Business giants, people behind success
after success after success.
This project is the brainchild of none other
than former President Donald J. Trump, a man who
authored Art of the Deal, a man who has been a business
success since the 90s.
The only possible explanation is a downturn in revenue
from this company, from this venture,
unless it's just some technical error where they're not
paying their vendors, which seems unlikely.
Something must be motivating people
to not use the service enough to generate the revenue needed
to pay the bills.
It is certainly a puzzle, and I'm not
sure if Truth Social will be able to find
the missing piece of that puzzle and put the picture together
in time to save that company.
It is very disheartening news for the fans
of the former president, who undoubtedly
have no other location to obtain that kind of information
that frequently.
Now, who will step up and take this social media giant's
place?
Who can fill Truth Social's news?
The plucky upstart Twitter might be the next site
that people begin to use as Truth Social
declines in popularity.
While many Americans may say that they saw this coming,
I find it very hard to believe.
I don't think anybody expected a business venture backed
by Donald J. Trump himself to run into economic issues,
especially this early on.
Anyway, it's just a thought.
Y'all have a good day.
