Well, howdy there, internet people.
It's Beau again.
So today we are going to talk about Russia and Ukraine,
the news that is coming out of there.
We'll go through expectations.
We'll go through the different assessments and estimates
and talk about where various sources think this is headed
think this is headed and what is likely to occur over the next couple of weeks.
If you don't know, there are several very credible reports that Russia is moving a whole lot of reinforcements
into eastern Ukraine. On this channel, we have been talking about an offensive that is coming
right around now. The expectation is that these reinforcements are for that
offensive and that definitely seems to track. There are a number of estimates
from Western Intelligence Services that say, hey, they really don't have the
munitions to back up an offensive. Yeah, I mean, yeah, I believe that's true.
However, they are Western Intelligence Services and a lot of them are going that extra step
and saying because they don't have the munitions, they're not really going to push that hard.
I don't know that that part's true.
I think that Western Intelligence may be overestimating how much Russia's command
command cares about the troops. They may be they may be willing to just throw
troops at situations that they lack the munitions for. Now there are estimates as
to when it is going to start. Some people think it's gonna start like now. I think
it is going to be closer to the one-year anniversary of their special military
operation that was supposed to take three days. I think they're planning on
probably just before the anniversary to start it so when the anniversary occurs
they can report gains. They can report that the lines are moving in the right
direction for them. Again, it does appear that Russia's command here is treating this
more like a PR stunt than a war. The last time they did this, it didn't go well for
them, and they might be making the same mistake again. That being said, with the number of
resources that they appear to be devoting to this, it seems pretty likely
that lines are going to change in a couple of different places. I don't
foresee this as being an offensive that is going to, you know, make it to the
Capitol or retake all of what they've lost or anything like that, but I would
expect the lines to change. We're in that phase of the war. But I don't, I really
don't expect it to get to the point where Russia is finally going to reach
the hard part, the actual occupation. We know that Ukraine has been preparing for
this. What we have talked about on this channel as far as the coming
offensive that is going to come from Russia, Ukraine knew all of this, so
they're going to have preparations. I would not be surprised if you saw them
decide to defend deep in certain areas and intentionally fall back, stretch the
lines, and then duplicate these strategies that they used before that
led to their successes. It's within their power still. I would kind of ready
yourself for a whole bunch of propaganda coming from everywhere as soon as it
starts. All sides. Get ready for it. I would also prepare yourself for some
pretty rough footage if you are somebody who who watches who goes out and finds
footage on their own on social media or whatever. I would imagine you're going to
see some that's pretty bad. If they throw a whole bunch of troops into this it's
probably gonna get pretty nasty. So just know that that is on the horizon but
But again, it's probably not going to be an offensive that is going to retake all of what
they've lost.
And it's worth noting that even Western powers at this point are starting to structure their
aid in a different way.
billions of dollars, X billions of dollars over five years. There are a few
places that are starting to come to the conclusion that the troops will not be
home by Christmas and that this is in a protracted phase. So that is what is
going on. That's the news we have and we'll continue to follow it and provide
updates as they occur.
Anyway, it's just a thought.
Y'all have a good day.
