The emotional weight and nuanced reasoning behind Beau's call for valuing facts in a time of rampant misinformation.

Well, howdy there, internet people.
Let's bow again.
So today, we are going to talk about Fox and timelines
and dates and what's going to happen next
and why people need to remember this case.
So we have been following the developments of the Fox case
and everything that's been going on with it.
We've talked about the quotes and the text
and all of the information that has
been put on the record, and we've kind of been going over it, but all of this is
preliminary. The judge has made a determination, and the only term
to describe the judge's decision is devastating. It is devastating for Fox.
This is what the judge wrote. The evidence developed in this civil proceeding
demonstrates that it is crystal clear that none of the statements relating to
Dominion about the 2020 election are true. The judge has decided that this
will go to jury trial. The start date at the moment, this may change because I
I would imagine that delay tactics are about to start in large fashion, but at the moment
the trial is scheduled to start on April 17th, not far away.
Because of all of the other legal proceedings that are going on around the country, it may
fall in the news cycle, but this is important.
We have to remember that some of the things that Trump was able to accomplish, they only
occurred because there were people all over the place that believed him.
And this case, this case goes straight to the heart of that.
So it's worth paying attention to and it is worth sharing information about because I
have a feeling that all of the cases that are coming forward about this and about what
Fox covered and how they chose to cover it in the aftermath of the 2020 election, this
information is information that I think will sway people.
I think it will help people realize that perhaps they weren't getting the whole story.
At this point in time, in a period of alternative facts, it might be incredibly helpful to this
country for people to realize that facts are facts.
Facts are facts.
You can debate political opinion, but there needs to be some baseline of reality.
These cases are likely to help push things back to the idea that facts do matter.
I can't see how that would be anything other than incredibly helpful given our current
climate and what is likely to continue to transpire if people don't start to
value reality.
Anyway, it's just a thought.
Y'all have a good day.
