Intelligence analysts, geopolitical enthusiasts.
Detailed analysis and further context on the potential implications of the leaked information and its impact on the conflict in Ukraine.

Well, howdy there, internet people, it's Beau again.
So today, we are going to talk about some news that came out
of Ukraine and whether or not it's true and whether or not
it even matters if it's true.
And we'll go over some possible future developments coming
from this information because it is wild.
OK, so reporting suggests that a batch of leaked information
contains evidence that the boss of Wagner, which
is Russia's private little crew over there,
was talking to Ukrainian intelligence
and offering to reveal troop locations as long
as they leave his people alone, reveal troop locations
the regular Russian military. If they haven't call-signed this guy Zartan yet,
they are... I don't know what to tell you, they're dropping the ball. But the
question is, is this believable? Yeah, as long as you put it into context. In fact,
it's a really smart move on his part. Okay, so to put this into context,
understand, Ukrainian intelligence knows where the Russian troop formations are.
What do they not know? Where the leadership is. This probably isn't an
offer to explain where the lines are. This is an offer to say where the higher
ups are or where they're going to be. And that's a brilliant move on his
part because if it's successful and Ukraine is capable of taking them out, well, that's
his opposition within the Russian structure, within the Russian power structure.
That's his opposition.
Those are the people he's been feuding with.
It makes sense.
They are removed and he doesn't suffer anything for it.
So yeah, I mean it tracks, and the idea of a contractor that was basically given real
military command kind of going off the rails and becoming a liability, I mean that's only
something that's happened pretty much every time it's ever been done going all the way
back to ancient Rome, so there's definitely a historical president for this.
Yeah, everything tracks.
It could totally be real.
Now, the way you would know that is whether or not there were any Russian leadership that
are no longer with us during this period.
Now, Ukraine, of course, is saying they didn't take him up on this offer, but that would
be the real sign, whether or not some Russian leadership got hit.
But you already have people saying, this isn't true, it's planted information, there's
no way this happened, maybe, maybe, but it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
what the truth of this is this is an incredibly successful intelligence
operation because either Ukraine successfully cultivated somebody in the
top tier of Russian leadership to get them to flip or they ran a they ran an
information operation that is 100% believable and feeds into the paranoia
that already exists within the Russian command structure and the splits that
already exist within the Russian command structure. So realistically is it true? It
It doesn't matter.
It really doesn't.
Whether or not this actually occurred, this is a Ukrainian win.
Ukrainian intelligence pulled something off.
Either they got an asset really high up in the Russian command structure,
or they're running an information operation that will be believed.
absolutely will be believed. It's too realistic to overlook. They're already
fighting, they're already feuding, the paranoia is already there, there's
already worries that he's kind of thinking a little too much of himself. So
this is probably going to exacerbate existing issues within the Russian
command structure. Again, whether or not this really happened, we won't know until
long after the war is over is my guess, but it's definitely an interesting
development, and I would pay close attention to Russian leadership moves
over the next 60 days or so. Anyway, it's just a thought. Y'all have a good day.
