Well, howdy there, internet people.
Let's bow again.
So today we are going to talk about Trump and the news about the grand
jury coming back and whether or not this is it, and we're going to go
over what we know and what we don't.
So if you have missed it, reporting has surfaced that suggests the grand jury
that is looking into the Trump documents case,
will be meeting again this week.
And it's been on break for a while.
As soon as the reporting surfaced, it started.
This is it.
They're going to indict him this week.
We're underway.
The game is afoot, so on and so forth.
Does anybody know any of that?
No.
No, nobody knows any of that.
It's speculation.
So what we're gonna do is we're gonna go over
what we actually know.
What we know is that the documents case
from what is publicly available is incredibly strong.
I personally believe that Smith is pursuing an indictment.
And based on what's publicly available,
I think he'll get one.
We know that a lot of the information that has come out recently has been about the special council's office really
investigating and shoring up ways to undermine Trump's potential defenses at trial. This is not something you would
typically do if you weren't pursuing an indictment. That's true. We know that the pace of the investigation kind
of slowed.
We're having a lot of information come out, but it's about activities that have occurred in the past.
All of this says, yeah, they're moving towards an indictment.
an indictment. But that doesn't necessarily mean that that's what's
going on this week. There could be a whole bunch of other reasons that
they're meeting. They might have found something else. They may be looking into
another avenue of it. We don't know. And I feel like this time there's gonna be a
whole lot of speculation and it's just going to become unbearable. As far as the
documents case goes, the evidence to indict, it certainly seems to be there.
The intention to indict certainly seems to be there. When that will occur, we
don't know. And I have a feeling we won't know until it does. We're not going to
know until the indictment is returned, assuming one is. So I wouldn't get too
caught up in any speculation because there could be other reasons for this.
and this has been dragging on for so long there are a whole lot of people
that are kind of fatigued by it so I wouldn't get out there and just start
you know constantly hammering home oh it's about to happen it's about to
happen it's about to happen because it may not there are a lot of signs the
speculation isn't wild there are things to back it up but we don't actually
know that. And this is a pretty complicated, it's a complicated case in
the sense of it's dealing with national defense information. So there's a lot of
things that they have to do in this that they don't have to do in others. The case
itself seems to be pretty straightforward unless there is a Trump
card, pardon the pun, that the Trump legal team is kind of holding back.
It seems pretty straightforward at this point, but we don't know the timing.
And I would just kind of temper the speculation and temper any excitement until it happens,
assuming it does.
Anyway, it's just a thought.
Have a good day.
