Beau says:
Jenna Ellis joins others in plea agreement with Georgia, tightening the circle around Trump as more lawyers cooperate, potentially strengthening the case.

Insights on the potential impact of continued cooperation and plea agreements on the legal case against Trump.

Well, howdy there, internet people, it's Bo again.
So today we're going to talk about Georgia,
and Trump, and Ellis, and questions
that are probably going to be asked in the future
that might mean a whole lot,
even though they're very, very simple questions.
And we will talk about the developments and what went on.
Okay, so if you have missed the news,
Jenna Ellis has decided to enter into a plea agreement with Georgia.
The terms are pretty much the same as the other ones.
It's five years of probation, a $5,000 fine, a hundred hours of community service,
a written apology, and of course testifying in future developments.
This is one more name. This is a total of four that have now entered some kind of
guilty plea. There are a number of lawyers who either have or are expected
to decide that it's in their best interest to cooperate with Georgia and
provide testimony, which means there's going to be questions that are asked. You
can go ahead and answer these as they're asked. Miss Ellis, attorney by profession,
right? So, I mean, you know the law and you entered a guilty plea when it comes
to elements of this scheme. So as somebody who knows the law, you did these
things. This seems really simple, but you're gonna have attorney after attorney,
people who know the law, people who the jury is going to see as somebody who, I
I mean, if there was a way out of this, if they really didn't do it, they would have
found it and you're going to see them say that they're guilty.
That's probably going to carry a lot of weight.
The circle around Trump is tightening.
His attorneys, his current attorneys, they have to figure out some way to deal with this
because we're not just talking about random people that are deciding to enter a guilty
talking about people who know the law that that's their job and they're saying
yes the elements of this offense I did it. Who did you do it for? The Georgia
case it is strengthening substantially with every one of these agreements.
We're not quite at the point where it is documents level of strength, which is an incredibly strong case, but we're
getting real close. every person that enters into a plea agreement is probably going to be just
one more little piece that pulls that circle a little bit tighter and gives
any potential Trump defense, less wiggle room.
I would expect more.
I would expect more people to enter into plea agreements because their attorneys are telling them,
undoubtedly, that when it comes to stuff like this, the earlier on in the process, the better it is.
it is. If they do what Powell did and wait until right before, the deal
probably isn't going to be probation only and they're going to be telling them
this. My guess would be that they'd be telling them that because generally
speaking, the closer to trial it gets, the less accommodating prosecutors are.
And then there will be holdouts. There will be people who there's no way that
they will they will enter into a plea agreement and those people will go to
trial. But I would once again remind everybody that the people who are
currently saying that there's no way that this is going to go anywhere. They
were the people saying that there was never going to be a recommendation for
an indictment and now you have four people who have entered into plea
agreements and who are cooperating. I'm still going to say I wouldn't
second-guess the prosecutors on this one. Anyway, it's just a thought. Y'all have
Have a good day.
