Beau says:
Beau warns of escalating tensions between Ukraine and Russia, marked by a drone exchange and potential energy infrastructure targeting, with Ukraine receiving warships to safeguard grain shipments.
Global observers
Details on the broader context and implications of the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

Well, howdy there, internet people.
Let's bow again.
So today we are going to talk about Ukraine and Russia
and what might have just started
and the events that just occurred
and where everything goes from here.
So Ukraine is beginning a period of remembrance.
And the day it started,
Russia launched what is believed to be the largest, the largest onslaught of drones.
Um, now I've got two different numbers, but they're not that far apart. One says that
Russia launched more than 70, not a definite number, and that Ukrainian air defense took
down 97% of them. The official statement from Ukraine says that Russia launched 75 and 1 got through.
The numbers are close enough together to kind of say, yeah, that's probably what happened. They
they were probably that successful.
That's a really good track record there.
Ukraine, in response, sent a bunch of drones into Russia.
Now, these are the one-way trip drones.
So they sent a bunch into Russia, some of them
making it to Moscow.
Now, this is widely believed now to be the prelude to Russia going after Ukrainian civilian
energy infrastructure.
We talked about how it was very likely they were going to do that over the winter.
It looks like it's about to start.
a pretty widespread consensus that this was designed to be kind of the the
opening shot on it. I would imagine that Russia thought it was going to be way
more successful than it was, but that doesn't mean that they're going to stop
and it doesn't mean that they won't be successful later. What they were using
in this most recent event were the drones of Iranian manufacture.
The stuff that it is believed they have been kind of producing and setting aside and not
using, it's a little bit more accurate, it's a little bit better, it's a little bit harder
to knock out of the sky.
So while round one of this definitely went in Ukraine's favor, they're not out of the
woods yet on this one.
It's still going to be cold for a while, and the anticipated strategy here is that Russia
goes after their energy infrastructure and tries to break resolve within the civilian
populace because they're cold. In related news that I haven't been able to get a
whole lot of information on yet, it appears that some quote partner nation
has decided to give Ukraine some form of warships. I can't find out what kind and
I don't know what country, but the purpose of them is to safeguard and
protect the grain shipments coming out of the country. I would imagine, since
this is being talked about in public by Ukrainian officials now, they're
kind of talking around it. They're not providing a lot of details, but I would
imagine we'll find out where they came from and what they are pretty soon. I
I don't think that they would I don't think that they would talk about it too far ahead of time so
We should be watching for that development as well
Anyway, it's just a thought, y'all have a good day.
